It took us almost 1.5 hrs to check in, the don’t have enough concierge to help with the check in and they gave us the right room. Me and my friend booked a 2 queen beds room but we ended up getting a king bed instead. It’s not just us but multiple guests got a wrong room.

Great deal for the price! This was previously Margaritaville, so family friendly and nice pool areas. We paid an extra $26 to have breakfast included and it was well worth it. The bill was way more than that.

Checkin process took an Hour. Lines long. Only 2 checkin counters open. Then they told us they are overbooked so they can not provide us two Queen beds. Instead they put us to a king suite. They said it has sofa bed. However end up the sofa bed was broken. So we have waited another hour from Engineer come fix it. The whole check in process finally took 3.5 hours.

I arrived the hotel at 4:00pm with my reservation and payments made ahead. I was told the room is not ready and would receive a call when is ready. I waited for two hours for the call but did not receive any call back. Does the cleaning take 2 hours? I also asked for estimate time of when I would be able to check-in but the receptionist said we will call you instead of giving me a time frame. This caused me inconvenience in my travel plans. I went up to the counter saw a line full of people waiting to check-in and I thought someone could help me out since I was already here waiting before the group of people arrived. But I was told to get back in line to talk with the receptionist about my check-in instead of solving my problem. I waited in line and finally talked to the receptionist who casually brushed off and said our system called you but no one pick up. This is not true. I waited for the call and there was no call from the resort. I finally checked in at 7:20pm. How much I paid and how long I was able to rest and use the facilities doesn’t add up.

Not worth the fee- an average size room with 2 beds cost over $600/night with the resort fee $40 included. Only one chair, too heavy to move, that was on the opposite side of the room. Only one small dresser drawer, and a small closet. While the shower was roomy and the water pressure strong, both beds were soft and lumpy. The two pools were nice, though cold. The convention center was close by and well managed.

The place was ok: not new or refurbished, but not rundown either. Staff was nice. Parking was spacious. But food options were at the minimum: sandwiches and pastries. There was no ice machine on my floor. And whenever I called for the operator at night no one picks my calls and answers—-I only heard a recording. My room didn’t have a microwave. I was told I could request one, and staff will deliver it to my room. —-

We’ve stayed at the hotel twice before when it was Margaritaville and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately right now it seems to be in transition with new ownership and there are some gaping holes including no service at the pool, the pool being absolutely ice cold even in high heat days (not one person was in the pool it was that cold), no more live music in the lounge, everything closing at 9pm, art missing from the walls, signs missing from the bars/restaurants, menus are just paper print outs, the shop or cafe being completely empty, the hallways being dirty, room only being cleaned once during a five day stay, and more. We love the size of the resort and the rooms, but the whole place is in dire need of attention. Staff were really nice when we saw them, but it was just very dead and lacklustre at the hotel. It’s too bad as we had an amazing time the other two visits in 2023 so we know what the place can be like.

Worst experience ever! I was never told the hotel transferred from Margaritaville to Riviera. The room had stains all over the walls & carpet. The sheets were extremely dirty. The phone didn’t work. The sink was crooked.

We were promised a margaritaville level experience and we first got put in a really poor room . The resort was almost empty . I went to pool near checkin and it had 10 people there . We asked for a new room and got it but there was nobody eg staff/guests at that part of the hotel . The pool bar was closed , the fire pit was locked . We had to ask for water and coffee everyday . When we checked out we pulled the sheets off the bed for house keeping and discovered blood stains on the matress cover . The inroom phone didn’t work and we told them and they did nothing . We still got charged resort fee . The worst experience ever for $ 400 a night
