"Old English Pub and Inn, clean and well kept. The food was great and the rooms clean. We stayed the week and found the staff to be friendly and accommodating. Just what you'd imagine a village Pub should be! So happy to have found The Swan, we'll be back to stay again! "

"Decent hotel & good value for the price we paid. Dinner was mediocre. Breakfast excellent.
In common with far too many small hotels wish they would upgrade to having proper Smart TVs.
"

Especially helpful with specific difficulties
Best breakfast service in a long time and we take plenty of weekend holidays

"Comfortable and stylish hotel in an excellent location near the Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells. Breakfast was very good although it took time to find a member of staff to take our order when we arrived at 7.30am. "
"The hotel is on the main street accessed via a side alley with steps and parking is available across the road.
A warm welcome on arrival.
We had room 20 which was spacious and had a view onto the bustling Pantiles street area of TW.
If you are like us a couple staying overnight for a nice dinner and a few drinks, this is actually a perfect place to stay.
On the Sunday morning because we were up early, we decided to have breakfast at the hotel which is à la carte and I must say the coffee was of an excellent standard, akin with Black Sheep, so well done on that front. My partner’s sausage on sourdough was lovely and I had a light Toast/preserves which was also lovely.
Service was understated but good.
No air con but the fan was surprisingly effective.
Enjoyed the stay. "
"Our stay at the Mount Edgcumbe was genuinely exceptional. My wife wasn’t feeling well during our visit, and the manager and staff showed such warmth and care — nothing was ever too much trouble. Their kindness and attentiveness really stood out and made us feel completely looked after.
The room was beautifully appointed, with everything we could need, and the bed was especially comfortable. We also appreciated how easy it was to come and go thanks to the private entrance — such a thoughtful touch that added to the overall convenience.
The dining room is simply lovely, with a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere, and the food was consistently very good — clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. From start to finish, it was a welcoming experience that far exceeded our expectations."
"Lovely staff, great food. Mattress in Apache had some hard springs. Good value for money with breakfast included. Evening staff were really good with us even though we arrived late, thanks guys. "

"Claire was friendly and welcoming throughout the experience, we felt very cared for. Thank you so much, Claire. The Stables Cottage is conveniently located within a 10 minute walk from Tunbridge Wells Train Station, you do not need a car for this break away. An absolutely beautiful shopping and dining out experience awaits visitors along the High Street and The Pantiles, with creatively designed shop windows, arty clothes and craft items, exquisite food served in cafes and restaurants, this is a wonderful treat.Claire recommended that we dine at The Beacon, which overlooks Rusthall Common, it is a truly amazing experience with a glorious walk back down through Rusthall Common and The Common, into The Pantiles shopping area. The Stables Cottage is beautifully decorated, with amazing attention to detail and everything visitors need. It is well designed, has a luxurious deep bath and waterfall shower, comfy king size bed and the location is ideal, down a quiet, cobbled lane, but close enough in town to have easy access to everything the High Street has to offer (just a short 2 minute walk down the lane)We were so very comfortable at The Stables Cottage, we had a marvellous time and hope to return soon. Many thanks and best wishes to Claire."
