"Paraty is a place to visit! Just skip this property. It’s not a hostel more like a local residence/ party spot. There was 3 families living there, that made it all rather unusual. The music never stops it’s on all day and typically goes off around 3-4 am. It’s difficult to get a good nights sleep. The bar/restaurant had nothing to drink other than 2 beers and only had potato chips for snacks. Not what I typically expect from a hostel. "The Pousada is cleaverly designed with the rooms in small cottages with pleny of vegetation. The cozy dinning room for the incredibly good breakfast (included) is next to a small but inviting pool, and a river that leads to the Paraty Bay and the historic center. The manager and owner were always on premises, were super attentive and accommodated all our requests.
