"The Colony definitely has a vibe to it. Plenty of activity in the lobby and around the pool. The staff is friendly and helpful. My particular room was awful, as it was located behind the elevator and the bathroom was tiny, with peeling wallpaper and pretty dirty overall. I had asked to get in my room early, so I think this was their way of teaching me not to do so again. Have stayed there in the past and never had an issue with a room. "We stayed for one night and it far exceeded expectations. The room itself was very clean and well kept with nice touches everywhere. For example, there is a little flag outside your door that shows where you are from and it is fun seeing how far folks have traveled. Owner is also very friendly and accomodating. Can't recommend this place enough if you are traveling to the area."
