"We didn’t receive the automatic email of the lock box to check in but the hosts answered our call straight away and were apologetic and gave us the code . The rooms were as pictured and clean, out the back was a vacant block of land for sale that our children ran in which gave them some extra space. The house was opposite the beach but there was a train track you needed to cross to get to it so not as close as expected. Short walk to the town for young children and old people. "

"We arrived to a very nice heated house which was spotless and very welcoming. Once unpack the owner , Terry , arrived to great us and make sure very thing was ok. Very friendly and helpful owner. The house has beach front views and is very roomy with everything we needed for our 4 night stay. It is a 5 minute walk to the shops which has an IGA , bakery, coffeehouse, information shop ,several restaurants and a pub. We had a meal at the pub , great atmosphere and food. "Large and spacious in a great locality. However, we found the stairs very steep, people who have mobility problems may not cope. Paying a premium nightly rate, in our opinion it was quite unreasonable to ask guests to water the plants & put the rubbish bins out into the street. A missing louvre in the ensuite meant we had to cover the gap with a bath towel to give us privacy from the lounge. No mention was made of this prior to arrival. Time of check in was a little confusing as we were informed...

"I absolutely loved my stay in the cabin! Brian was an incredible host and went above and beyond to answer my questions and make my stay wonderful. One small note, there is no curtain or door between the entry way and the tub and toilet, so keep that in mind if you prefer privacy. But with birds and cows for neighbors, didn’t have to worry about it too much. I hope to return one day! "

"To be dog friendly there needs to be a fenced area to keep the guests precious dogs safe. Please put at least a wire netting fence along the retaining wall by the drive way and a secure gate at the end of the path. It was extremely distressing on the two occasions when my friendly Cavoodle raced off the property chasing after passing dogs and their owners "

"Very updated, nice, clean rooms and facilities. Only Reception/Bar/Restaurant staff, Melissa very nice and accommodating. She a all rounder on the property. Nice pool. Only request is to install railings to get in and out of pool. We had to assist 3 patrons out of the pool. Need more deck chairs and no mention as depth of the pool. Very nice otherwise. Happy to come back again"
