A Lovely Location
Surrounded by terrific hiking trails and within easy distance to Lancaster, this property was a perfect fit for what we were looking for. A drape across the entrance would provide additional privacy, but we enjoyed everything about it.

Weekend family get away
Lovely property that was well taken care of that was in a beautiful setting nestled in the woods. Special personal touches of a welcome sign and freshly made chocolate chips cookies were waiting for us. The owners and their dogs were friendly. It took 25 minutes to get to sight and sound and the outlets which was a little longer than I thought.

Relaxing weekend
We loved this cute little space. We found it very relaxing, peaceful and quite. It was a nice place to get away from the noise and business of life, but it was still close enough to all different types of places if you wanted to go out and do something. We will definitely be coming back!!

My husband and I stayed at Beautiful Lakewood hideaway for 5 days as an in between before we moved into our new place. It was a place to rest and get ready for the next part of our lives. We had a great experience. Peter and Brittany were very hospitable!

My husband and I enjoyed spending a few days in this peaceful wooded area of Lancaster County. The apartment is well designed and supplied and the bed is very comfortable. The host was also helpful and pleasant.

Great alternative to a hotel
My son and I stayed for 2 nights while attending a baseball camp nearby. The space had everything we needed and close enough to restaurants, but far enough away to feel like a vacation. Well decorated and clean...exceeded our expectations!

Woodsy Retreat
Nestled in the woods and hill country, Lakewood Hideaway was peaceful, quiet, and comfortable, yet only a short drive from restaurants, shopping, and adventure. Very clean and highly recommended.

Wonderful escape
If you’re looking for a nice quiet retreat in the woods, this is for you! Decorated beautifully with wonderful personal touches. Peter and Brittany were wonderful hosts. The pictures don’t do it justice! We loved sitting out on the patio and relaxing at night watching the fireflies. Hope to return someday! Thank you!!!

Overnight stay
We were in town for Sight and Sound. We needed a safe and nice place to stay. Everything was lovely and exactly as advertised. Check in process was difficult and frustrating. Once a code is given to the guest, then detailed instructions on finding the digital code box should be given. Not everyone is familiar will all code boxes on the market. The door needs to be fixed too. Six attempts to open it was stressful.

Perfect Quiet Get Away
A perfect place to rest and renew. Clean, simple decor. Well, maintained. All the basics you will need. Close enough to Lancaster sites but removed from the busyness. Close to good hiking trails. Loved the view of mountain/trees. Plenty of space for a small family. Easy check in and out. Thank you for the treats and flowers, they were a sweet surprise. It was a wonderful break and would Definity suggest to others.
