The resort pool area has been updated a bit which was needed. The pools by each room are nice as well. Our room was dated, but we knew that going in so it wasn't an issue. The room was not clean. The tile floor had hair and food crumbs all over it and the carpet had not been vacuumed. The linens and towels had been replaced and the counters were wiped, but that is all that was completed between guests. We were out of conditioner, shampoo, and body wash when we checked in. There was a past guest's personal conditioner in the room, though, so that came in handy before the hotel delivered new conditioner (we didnt know the other two items were near empty when we had them bring the conditioner, and subsequently ran out of everything). Otherwise, we got what we paid for.

The kids really enjoyed the pool areas, especially the lazy river and slide. The room wasn't in the best condition (entry door hard to open, stain on rug in front room), and didn't include everything normally provided. First, there was no shampoo. The dispenser had been removed and not replaced. We had to request shampoo only to find out they are switching from the large dispensers on the wall to the small containers that get about 2 uses out of them, so not very environmentally friendly. Second, it wasn't discovered until mid shower, but the conditioner and the body wash (while still on the wall) were empty. Third, the safe was never reset after the previous occupants so we had to have someone come up to reset it before we could use it. Little issues like that made me wonder what else hadn't been cleaned or checked from the previous occupant. The pool areas were nice, and the food and drinks were good though. All the employees were also nice and very helpful.

The hotel was kind of expensive, because I learned when I got there that UCLA was playing at the Rose Bowl stadium the next day..Note to self-may want to avoid Pasedena on those days! Still, the staff was so welcoming and unusually helpful and upbeat, even though we were meeting them at midnight to check in! The following morning, the gentleman who was tending to the breakfast buffet was similarly upbeat and helpful. I was really impressed! What nice kids. I think the front desk guy was named William, and the guy at the breakfast bar was Alex.Give those two a bonus! The room itself was nice because it has three beds, and that is rare. If you are traveling with two teenagers who are not super excited to share a bed, its a fabulous situation.

The photos definitely look nicer than what the property is… I was told that there’s new ownership and there’s going to be some big changes. Definitely a great place to take your kids. The pool area is really nice. Food is a little below average.

This is our second stay and have had a blast each time! The rooms are great and the water park is a lot if fun. We did mini golf as wwll as enjoyed the pools and hot tub. We definitely recommend a stay at Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak!

Stayed not really knowing much about the area. Have family out in AZ, this resort was 20mins away from almost everything we wanted to do. Nice pools, long lazy river water slide my son really enjoyed his time. Room on the other hand was less then ideal, first the main bed felt like you were sleeping on a pile of feathers on a boxspring(my wife and son) meanwhile I took the sofa bed. Let’s just say I’m a 300lbs guy and I needed to almost jump on it to get it down. Would not pull out. When it did finally come flat, I almost opted the floor woulda gave me for comfort. I put the bed away and slept on the couch which with all the cushions, was probably more comfortable then the King bed. And anytime someone was walking outside of down the stairs, it was like I was outside with them. I will visit AZ again, but unless there is some serious change to the Rooms, I will not be staying here. Location location location AMAZING, but you have to be able to sleep to enjoy everything the surrounding areas have to offer.
