"택시로 공항에서 15분정도거리 에위치 외관은 옛날시골 집처럼괞찮음 방도괞찬고 그런데 샤워할려고 수도꼭지를 돌리는순간 흙탕물이 나옴 그래서 2~30분 틀어놓으니 맑은 물이나와서 샤워를 할수있었다. 위치는 도로옆이고 주변에 식당들은 많았다. 주변야경은 인터넷에서 본거와 생판다름 별로다. 아침식사는 쌀국수인데 맛이없다"

"Family business run by lovely hosts. There is a couple that runs the hotel and they are very attentive and polite. They offered me Christmas dinner on Christmas eve and the young son of the owener, which the hotel is named after, gave Christmas cards to all the guests which I thought was a lovely touch. Breakfast is very decent. If you like to be a bit more tacked away from the city but still not too far, I would definately reccomend this place. The mum is such a character, doesn't speak a word...

"Accommodation was clean and basic - great if all you care about is the beach (which we did). However, the staff did not speak English and in addition they were absent most of the time during our 6 night stay. Shower was cold most of the time but again after a hot day on the beach not so much of a bad thing."

"We booked and paid for 8 nights in advance but stayed for just 4 nights and found a better place in Grand World. Closer to the beach. The property managers were nice and helpful but not very generous with giving us a refund for the days we didn’t stay. We found the area poor in the choices of restaurants and stores. The restaurants only open after 11am in the mornings, surprising for a tourist oriented area. But that was consistent even in other areas of Phu Quoc. "

"A very secluded place...walking through narrow streets at night was scary. Low fee, but the taxi driver that lives there overcharged me for his service. A beautiful island, friendly people, but sad to see so much trash all over the beaches."

"Was really happy with this family run guest house that i stayed in for my last night in Phu Quoc before flying out. Incredibly helpful family members, room was impeccably clean (although towels and sheets although perfectly laundered, both had few wear-n-tear stains). Bathroom was spotless (which made me so happy), and hot water and shower worked perfectly. WiFi worked very well also so managed to get a lot of work done. "I think it's a great place for couples like us who do not prefer going out to the beach or downtown. We wanted to stay trapped inside the villa and rest, and we were able to do just that. The resort isn't a big one, but it does have everything like a mart where we can buy food to cook in the villa, a restaurant with a great show in the evening, a decent gym, a sauna available for use free of charge, etc., it has everything except a beach, but there us a shuttle that takes you to the beach (only...

"The communication would had been easier if they didn’t only used Zalo. We were lucky our cousin joined us to communicate as she had Zalo. There was no one at the desk as stated. We asked security guard questions. The firework show was nice from our rooms. The 2nd room took longer to get ready but we had our first room. The people were very nice. "

"The staff were excellent - and the restaurant hostess Bich stands out as excellent. She greeted my wife and I each morning for breakfast and sometimes was in the restaurant at night. Bich made us feel at home and we probably would return here just because of her, but everything is excellent here. Even housekeeping was super efficient and I liked that they cleaned our room as soon as we left in the morning. Breakfasts are superb too. My only complaint is that 1 million Dong per night deposit is quite a large amount for a 5-star hotel. Is that really necessary? I stay in 5-star hotels in Thailand and Cambodia and never have been asked for a deposit. This surprised me. Surely the clientele that come to a 5-star hotel do not require such large deposits? "
