"Started out with no access info to the unit, arrived after dark to no lights and a locked door, had to message host for access code, this should have been in the email with the access info. Upon access we found the heat turned off, it was 50 degrees outside and the smoke detector beeping of a low battery (most annoying). My Wife went to use the restroom found there was no towels out to use, listing clearly said towels were included, (they were under the bathroom sink). No new trash bag in...

"It was a short walking distance to eating places and shopping area. Cottage room was cozy, quiet and enough space for what we needed. For our cottage, the air conditioning system worked and kept the room cool. However, when in AC mode, the AC unit would be loud. It was expected fan noise when using fan mode. The noise was OK during the day as we were out most of the day. However, it was too loud for sleep purposes. Would suggest replacing the AC unit (cottage #23). Also, the TV worked but navigating the cable channels was not clear. Would suggest providing instructions as to what is available and how to navigate the channels. Again, we were out most the day, so it was not a big issue."

We didn't realize until we arrived how centrally located it was for everything we wanted to do and see as we had never been to this area before. We plan to visit the area again and would stay here for certain. "

"Comfortable bed!! Quiet place. Able to darken room fully! Old-school tub with real tile. Cute metal tea/coffee pot. Polite staff. What more can you ask from a 2-star hotel? They even have laundry facilities available. Halls and room a little musty, but running the a/c cleared the smell. Pool appeared a bit on the murky side, despite a chlorine-tablet floatie bobbing around. We did not attend the complimentary breakfast, but there was a waffle maker, yogurt, juice, etc. available. I liked the split staircase with wooden banister leading to the second floor. NOTE: Be sure to request a room on the first floor if you don't climb stairs; there is no elevator."

We were lucky enough to see deer and turkeys multiple times throughout the stay, which the kids were so excited about."
