"A cozy stay in the woods! We had a great stay- plenty of beds, a well equipped kitchen, and a great location. We were there in the winter so we didn’t get to enjoy the lake, but the house is only 15 minutes away from world class skiing at the Birkie Trailhead! The converted garage was also a great addition. We recommend! 10/10"

"This cabin was exactly the privacy and lack of inernet/cell service we desperately needed. Spacious enough that we're debating bringing a group next time! Some of the old VHS tapes and equipment/anemities were like a step back in time. Quiet, charming, and within driving distance (30-40 miles) of many great hiking spots and food. Honestly can't wait to come back!"

"This is our second year staying at the Deer Trail lodges. We have loved our experiences so much that we are trying to start a tradition of going every year. The cabin is rustic and cozy. "This is the perfect location for our Winter visit to Iron River! This little house is the perfect size for myself, my husband and the little pups. Basically all the amenities you would need but I would recommend bringing your own sugar and sweeteners for things like coffee. They provide cups but if you are a brew your own coffee type, bring that as well!
