Planos Hotel Guide - Hotels with Spa in Planos, Zakynthos

"Presents like a 5 star hotel but delivered like a 3 star. Positives were rooms were very spacious and upgraded to a ground flr room with a great size plunge pool. Negatives- both managers lacked any type of customer service charm, no bell man to help with bags, cheap finishes from flooring to tiles to toilets which were always clogged or running. Weeds growing in the floorboards all around the pool, place is definitely put together and operated on a shoestring budget - not sure how they get away...

"The hotel is is a fabulous location with a mini bus to the beach with a very helpful driver and excellent service unfortunately you need your own transport to be able to explore the rest of the island due to the location. We was aware of this when booking as has stayed previously but for some this could be a problem. Some items on the description are no longer available/correct and although this wasnt a problem for us i believe the description should be updated as incorrect. Staff very friendly...

"The Marelen was perfect for us, the breakfast had many options, the pool bar was top notch service, its location is perfectly between the beach and main road for shops etc. We were visiting for a few days for a wedding so staying in different hotels and multiple people mentioned how they really liked our hotel compared to others in the area - we are hoping to be back for a proper holiday next year!"
