"We had a lovely week at the Hard Rock Hotel and thought the hotel was absolutely lovely. At check-in we were served quickly, given an upgraded room and as we had missed dinner that evening (flight delay), they sent up some charcuterie and bread to our room which was much appreciated. "I have just returned from a 5 night winter break here. I have travelled extensively but this hotel is up there with some of the best i have stayed in, certainly in Europe. The staff were all extremely polite friendly and professional. The pools and grounds were beautiful, but the town outside tge horel was very limited. We decided to upgrade to all inclusive on arrival which i would recommend due to the local town being limited for dining options. The dining on offer at the hotel was absolutely great and i couldnt fault it at all. The roon was spacious and clean but a little tired looking. I would have expected more minibqr items to be included with AI. The hitel is expensive but tge quality was spot on. We had the most relaxing lovely holiday "

Lovely Abama Terraces

"My husband and I had a two week stay in Las Terrazas de Abama Suites. The suite was very comfortable with modern furniture and a wonderful view over La Gomera The standard of cleanliness, not only in the rooms was very high, but also around the grounds, the pools, bar and restaurant areas. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There is also a shuttle service which is available to take you to the beach, the restaurants, the golf course or the shop. Would thoroughly recommend staying at Las Terrazas"

"For a 1* pension hotel the room I had as a solo traveller was superb ! Good sized room, sink, fridge, and balcony was just perfect. Also the property has clearly been renovated as everything appeared new and the common WC/ shower rooms are very modern with a very hot power shower. Raphael and Carlos keep the property spotlessly clean and do a great job. I highly recommend Pension Alcala, but its best to try and book a room with a balcony "
