"The Thompson is a modern Mexican hotel located on Playa Ropa. You can walk to restaurants and are an easy 5 min cab or 100 MXP to the center. "It is an old hotel, so for what it is, it’s not bad. Very good area. Very safe. Staff was great and friendly. If it was a little cheaper it would’ve been 5 stars. I just think the hotel needs an update. But the beaches are amazing. No complaints. People around the area are also very friendly."
