"We all enjoyed our stay for our Dad's 70th Birthday. The pool was used constantly! The house was very clean, well equipped and beds comfortable. The grounds and surrounding areas to the property are beautiful. Alan, the host was good at communicating and replied very quickly to any queries I had. My only gripe, which didn't detract from the stay at all, would be plastic cups for the pool area and maybe some pictures and ornaments throughout the house to make it feel more homely. Thank you...

"We had a lovely stay, and everything in the chalet was fine however we only stayed for two nights. I would say there are a couple of areas of the experience which can be improved further. The bed and pillows aren’t comfy, we have both left with neck pain, a mattress protector and new pillows would go a long way. The top oven smoked when preheating so we had to avoid using it. Nice view and good location, would have benefited with directions to the spot by the river which is pictured in the ad....

"We loved staying there and would stay there again. We would recommend changing out the living room light to something a little brighter...very dim! But the place was clean, loved having the washer/dryer and beds were very comfortable. Perfect location for what we needed, and you should not hesitate to book this house if you are going to Portknockie!"

"The property is absolutely beautiful. Everything about our stay was just wonderful. The house is super clean. The kitchen has everything you need. A lovely little welcome pack thank you, Loved the garden. We were very lucky with the weather and has a nice sun trap. The Tv is great, a lot of rental properties have a pockie little one but this bungalow had such a decent sized TV.
