Being right downtown was awesome and for the price, I’m happy with my stay. The hotel itself is outdated, much more than the pictures lead you to believe. The elevators are very small and only one goes to the basement where the ice machine is. A couple icks in the room: the shower was tile, and two of the corners looked like they had never been cleaned and/or there was mold growing. I wore my crocs in the shower after seeing this. Also the couch had a really gross looking stain on it. I probably wouldn’t stay here again when there are a few other name brand hotels close by that may have some higher cleaning standards and updates.

$35 a day to park my car in the garage or on the street is a bit high in my opinion. Just an FYI. Is it a "deal breaker"? Maybe for someone who stays more that 2 days. I'd look elsewhere to save over $100 in parking fees.

Initially I booked this because I’m an Expedia gold member. They falsely advertised a free bottle of wine and possible upgrade. When I got there the attendants were unaware “allegedly” all I’m going to say is that for the price it’s okay. The hotel was not expensive and I should have known better. Just don’t let the free perks stir you to book the hotel. They are intentionally advertising something they won’t give you. That’s my 2 cents…

The area was perfect! Powell’s books/Shake Shack/Coffee shops were all within 5 minutes walking distance. really good sushi place next to the hotel. There is homeless closer to china town & at night we saw a couple but i feel like that’s every downtown area. The parking was $32 a night but it’s in a closed garage which made me feel safe. The actual room seemed old/outdated but the location was perfect & for the price it was good.
