"The best thing about this property is the location. On a lovely part of the bay, it’s close to restaurants, groceries, and a bakery. The view from the pool area is perfection. However, this condo is on the back side of the property and only has peek-a-boo views from the unit. There is also an odor in the unit - maybe cigarettes, maybe damp. Once I aired the place out, the smell was tolerable. "

Hire car needed to reach other towns - Kotor is a flat walk of one hour plus, dodging traffic. Be prepared for narrow roads and tricky access. We used parking bay 4/11. Outside apartment block looks a bit tired...

"First we stayed at a newer highly rated hotel and then switched to Allure...wayyyy better. So much more space, parking, no thin walls or connecting doors you can hear neighbours through, they even provide pods for doing laundry if so inclined. It was perfect for our family of 4 ( kids 6 and 1). Super location near the "mall". Spotlessly clean. Internet could be better though."

"We had a wonderful 5 nights stay in Kotor. The location of maison W is perfect. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. There are many restaurants along the waterfront right by the appts. When we first approached the surrounding area it didn’t look as pretty as we expected however that was our only fleeting concern and it soon diminished. We would recommend a private boat tour, walking the fortress wall and going up the cable car and mountain coaster. "

"Our stay was great! We arrived much later than expected (midnight instead of 6pm) and the hotel owner was kind and understanding. "The place was very clean and comfortable. Dragan, the property owner was very helpful with anything we needed. The only difficulty was the narrow parking space that was assigned to us. It was hard to get into, especially with standard (non-automatic) transmission. Overall, we enjoyed our stay as it is only a short walking distance from the entrance to the Kotor old town. "
