They put me in a room with bed bugs. I woke up at 1:30am to change rooms. The front desk lady covering the night shift acted fast to change my room and told me they should have not placed me in that room. The staff was aware of the bed bug issue the room ( 112 ). I came to the front desk at 6:30am in the morning, after a sleepless night to talk to the manager and she was not there yet. I left a note with the front desk requesting a call from the manager to talk about the issue and I didn’t get a callback. I got the impression that she does not see a bed bug issue as priority. After working a 10 hour shift I called back to the front desk with the intent of talking to the manager and they told me that the manager was not available even after I explained what the issue was. They took may number down once again and told me she would call me. 2 and a half hours later Linda ( manager) call me back and apologize for the bed bugs. After discussing the issue and Linda trying to talk to me about just washing my clothes and it. It being a big deal, she offered to refund me 1 day of stay. I requested a full refund and compensation for my personal belongings Clothing, my essentials. (My luggage). She let me know that she would that to her boss and get back to me. 😤 She called back the next day and left a voicemail saying she would refund the the full amount of the stay but did not mention anything about my personal items. I find my self out of my home state replacing my belonging.
