"We were going to check in and the front desk lady was great, after discussions with her we upgraded to the castle about 200m away and it was amazing. However we rode horses at this location and enjoyed the great pizza and beer. The whole property was very quiet and enjoyable, grass needed to be mowed but still amazing. We also enjoyed the stable employees and riding horses. loved our stay in the castle as well, overall great experince."

"Very nice venue with heaps of historical cachet, richness and boiseries. The staff, at the restaurant and reception were very helpful. Despite a busy evening, we were able to get a table for diner in a nice setting. Have to say that our first room was too noisy being close to the elevator and transit hallway (Newest soundproofed doors would solve the problem?) "The first room I got was next to the open space over the reception area - it was like living in the lobby. The second room seemed quieter but at 7:30 in the morning it turned out it was right next to the technical room with what sounded like industrial size washing machines. They were turned off after I asked but the sleep was ruined… Otherwise the room / hotel was adequate, notwithstanding an extra thin douvet."
