"A lovely hotel. Service levels in Brazil can often fall short but here they nail it. Suitcases were waiting in our room once we’d checked in. Staff are very polite and attentive without being overbearing. Our room was very modern and well appointed. The breakfast buffet was very good with lots of options. The hotel is a stone’s throw from the beach with lots of restaurants nearby. We felt safe in the neighbourhood. Best in Brazil so far, better than the Copacabana Palace. "

"Overall okay place to stay. It's adjacent to their other property, and it looks like the one we stayed in gets the leftovers of the main one (furniture, mattresses, sheets, etc.). Somewhat clean room. Safe area and a nice staff. Expedia bookings do not get breakfast (extra $5.00, totally worth it, served at the other property across the street). Guests extremely noisy, banging doors late at night and at dawn, but it looks like that's a local problem rather than the hotel's. "
