Very spacious (we made it work for 12 young adults), the property management team was very efficient and proactive with their communication (they answered all questions), the check-in/out process was smooth, and the lake that the property was off of was beautiful.Though this is likely a more desirable place for a family summer vacation, my group and I had a great time. "The house is quaint with historical charm. By all accounts the beds were comfortable. We stayed in the winter and so can't speak to the outside amenities. We also didn't travel into town, so I can't speak to that either. The only criticism is that the elders in the family had a hard time finding the house as it is back off the road and the numbers are nailed up on a tree. Admittedly, I also had a moment looking for the house, but I was looking during daylight hours so it was easier to find....

"This was the perfect spot to be together! We will have to return in the summer!!"

"Not so easy finding a house that can comfortably accommodate 37 people with ages ranging from 8 months to 68 years but this one sure did. Very spacious with so many bedrooms and beds. Obviously the pool and hot tub were the high points but there were plenty of other things to do. Christie the manager was always on the ball to answer any questions that popped up. She was very accommodating as was Adam, the owner. We all had the greatest time."

"Overall it was nice, the only thing is a few broken items: handle to one of the patio doors was missing, trash can in the kitchen was broken, it would be nice to have extra comfortables or blankets as the house does get pretty cold due to the old windows. In addition, the fire place does need looked at as it appears the vent does not work so we couldn’t use it. "

"We found the place to be as described. It was clean and had all the expected amenities. We were able to walk to historic downtown and enjoyed a concert. Unfortunately we had an emergency at home and had to cut our stay after one night - making it a very expensive and short vacation."

"We spent the weekend with a group of 10 friends in the winter. The house couldn't be cozier, and the hot tub was amazing in the snow. We will be back!"

"The property was lovely, quiet and clean- must be fairly new to rental market still needed a couple things. Communication with rental group was very delayed or None existent. I had to directly contact host who called immediately. Met another renter at the pool who stated she’s stayed in neighborhood twice and both times communication was awful. We were never told about a fob needed to get into pool ( she waited 6 hours for a response and told me). We searched the house and finally found it. "

"Just two teacher friends looking tog eat away for a 3-day weekend. Communication with the renters was EXCELLENT. So helpful and attentive. The property is beautiful and perfectly located and so fun. Very clean and it was so prepared for anything a renter might need. We can’t wait to go back or check their other properties they may have. Very impressed. . "

"We loved our winter stay in this cute, cozy cabin. Everything was clean and comfortable and the host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, which we did. There was ample room for our family of 4, were able to hike in Van Buren State Park and along Lake Michigan from the cabin and were still minutes from town to go in for dinner. We were looking for a cabin in the woods with snow, and this delivered. We will be back to this cabin in the summer or fall to experience different...
