"Excellent hotel but more dated than the pictures look. Rooms are large but you can hear conversations from other rooms. Great to have a beach across the road - weather permitting, of course. It's also nice to stay away from Venice island but have access to it. Ferry no. 14 is the most direct way to get to San Marco in 10 minutes, but make sure you go in the right direction. The rooftop bar is lovely when open. The only downside is the breakfast which, contrary to other reviews, was quite bland...
