"If you are considering this cabin, do not hesitate to book it. It is absolutely beautiful, perfect spot on the lake and still close to many local venues. We enjoyed a beautiful fall weekend and cannot wait to go back. Denise was the most gracious host and made us feel at home. We were able to fish off the dock which is just steps from the front porch. Beautiful sunsets and listening for the loons was a favorite. Wish we could give more than 5 stars! "

"I wish I could give 5 stars, but I can’t. We arrived on a Tuesday afternoon, at 4:30. We unlocked the door and entered into a powerful smell. Campfire. Black soot up the front of the fireplace and the smell was awful. And of coarse, we are super sensitive to the smell. Looking around, I found the couch to be filthy, every screen had nasty cobwebs, dirt on the floor, bedding filthy, mold on the shower floor, Bathroom faucet was disgusting and obviously not cleaned . I was profoundly disappointed,...

"We had a lovely weekend stay at this cozy cabin. Super clean, all the amenities needed for our small family, 2 adults + 3 year old. Convenient location, we would book here again when we are back in the area. "

"This is a small backyard apartment a block away from downtown Wiscasset. The house met our needs. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was small but with enough equipment to prepare simple meals. The house was in walking distance of shops and restaurants in Wiscasset. There was a grill and patio for those who wanted to cook outside. The was a washer and dryer available. "

"Accurate listing, great location (easy drive to Augusta for dinner), really peaceful and quiet. GPS had a minor problem right at the end trying to send us through a neighbor's trailer, but we figured it out (the external pictures helped). Loved our stay there, even though it was just overnight on the way to somewhere else. Next time, we'll stay for a week."

"My wife and I make a trip up to Maine every fall and I can state this property was one of the nicest we've ever stayed at. First the view: The cottage has an amazing view of the lake, sitting at the kitchen table there is a huge window and it feels like you are right on the water. "This property is beautiful - beautiful sunsets and changing lake views. We enjoyed walking around the roads. Cottage had everything we needed. Good, close grocery locations. Discovered “A Small Town Bakery” with gluten-free options in nearby Wayne. Plenty of towels, sheets and blankets for our stay, as well as games, movies and children’s toys.
