"Thank you for our lovely stay. We arrived quite early, having disembarked from a ship, and the staff were very helpful. Our room was made available a little earlier than the regulation time, and when we returned from a walk around the harbour, our bags were already in the room. Room afforded a wonderful view of the bay and harbour; the breakfast was excellent, and we really appreciated the hotel gym, which was well equipped, and free of TV screens or doof doof - bliss!"

"This is a wonderful place to stay. Absolutely beautiful property, very friendly staff, rooms were very comfortable and centrally located. Just a short walk to Battery Point and so many restaurants in Hobart."

"A real genteel old fashioned hotel with old fashioned service. We were greeted by Anthony for our very delayed check in after 11am with a smile and friendly assistance with parking (a very reasonable $5 per night at a public parking multi story nearby). Rooms are old fashioned but comfortable with all amenities you could need. It certainly was a change from the motels we've so far been using on our trip and we were very happy. "

"Amazing, we stayed 2 nights. Loved the cabin, especially the outdoor bath. Had a few furry friends come visit too. Fire place kept us warm as it was a bit chilly at night. Only thing I would recommend is to have 2 sets of towels as it was a bit hard to get them dry after use. "
