"First of all, the hosts (The Scheideman's) were absolutely the best ever. They made sure we were happy, and everything was just right to make our stay just what we expected. Second, the cabin was absolutely gorgeous and right on the water as advertised. Lastly, the location is just perfect. We were isolated and in a quiet Adirondack community but just minutes away from Saranac Lake amenities! We will definitely visit again...and again!"

"The house was a little smaller than I expected but easily accommodated all 8 of us. Everything we needed was there and house rules/instructions were clear. I gave 4 stars because the shower handle in the master broke the second day. The owner clearly stated that it was difficult and I guess it finally broke. We managed with all of us just more shower planning. All in all it was a nice place to stay. "

"We had a great time staying at the nook. Kevin and Mary were gracious hosts, had plenty of information about things to do nearby, and checked in with us occasionally without being overbearing. The apartment is nicely furnished and equipped with everything you need. It was cozy and comfortable. Not sure we'll ever get to this part of the US again, but if so I would gladly stay here a second time."
