"Our family of 5 stayed over the holidays and could not have asked for a better experience! The hosts were fantastic- quick communication & all the info we needed to prepare in advance.The cabin was stunning, better than photos & loved how they decorated for the holidays! We were comfortable and cozy, loved the fireplaces, hot tub and whirlpool tub. Everything was immaculately clean and kitchen well stocked for cooking. It would be a great romantic getaway but families will also feel at home with board games & plenty of space to relax. Feels remote but was a quick trip to Ferryville, 15 mins across the river to a large nature center, and several hiking options 20-45 mins away (we opted for Wyalusing State Park). The hosts have several properties in the area and we'll absolutely be booking again to try out another! Thank you for the great memories "

"We came in for a 1 night stay for a sports game. When we checked in we were able to up grade our room for under 10.00. The staff was truley amazing. I talked with the front desk staff for a few minutes in the morning and she was so personable and truly so very kind. The morning breakfast was perfect for our needs plenty of variety and selections. If im ever in the area of Viroqua again i will definitely make sure i stay at the American Inn again. Thank you"

"Walked into a 45 degree room that took four hours to heat up, window sills and walls by shower are filthy, sign in elevator says no continental breakfast on fri/sat/sun but they had one, no garbage can in breakfast area, broken outlet cover in breakfast area, bottom safety handle in shower not attached, bathroom fan quit working, not enough signage in the bldg to find the lobby We stayed here one year ago and had none of these problems, they are letting it go downhill"
