The Ross, apartment in former monasterty on the shores of world famous Loch Ness

The Ross is a fabulous holiday apartment with many excellent facilities included in your rental. It sits on the second floor of the Moat House in Fort Augustus Abbey, now known as The Highland Club.
The apartment has excellent views all round the Cloister Corridors, to the cricket field, Fort Augustus village and the hills beyond.
The Ross is rather warm and cosy throughout the year with gas central heating; it is therefore an ideal base for a family holiday or enjoying quality time with friends.

Activities
Walking, riding, canoeing – there are no limits for things to to.

For many of our guests, holidays are for relaxing and The Ross is a rather quiet place to enjoy the refinary and relaxing atmosphere of this historic Abbey. Alternatively, you can use your holiday here for fun and adventure on and around Loch Ness.

Furnishings are very comfortable and the rooms are spacious, retaining many of the original Abbey features so you never forget what a lovely building you are staying in. The windows in the master bedroom for example – you will sit up in bed staring at the windows, not so much through them, but upon them, as they are so beautifully crafted.

Great Stay
Really enjoyed staying at such a unique place. The Ross was bigger than we anticipated - upstairs living quarters and a nice downstairs living room area. Staff was incredibly friendly. I took off one star because the mattress was a little rough - we could feel each individual spring.

Fab place to stay
Great property, amazing location and a very special building. Apartment was cosy and well stocked. There are a number of steps to get to it and more stairs within the property so be aware of that if you have mobility issues. However, thoroughly recommend for a very enjoyable holiday. Simon was great and made us feel very welcome.

Highland haven
Property magnificent and surroundings breathtaking. Apartment lovely and comfy ,although it did not have a satellite television as advertised. We also did not realise that the apartment was on two floors but accept this was our misunderstanding ! One small suggestion would be to remove the pot pourri / artificial flowers as they gave a rather tired and dusty appearance. We will definitely be back though .

Tolle Lage und einzigartig
Alles in allem super. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten wären zu verbessern. Aber nicht der Rede Wert. Einzigartige Wohnung und Anlage.
