"The stay at Hotel Edelweiss was, simply put, perfect! Along with an extremely courteous staff, the hotel offers so many options that make your stay wonderful. "The rooms definitely need renovations. The hallway to reach the room takes a good 20 mn of walk!! On top of having skied all day and paying no less of 700€ a night. The gondola is not even included to reach the town (only at check-in and check-out) which is an additional 22€ per couple per ride. The bed is not comfortable at all and still using 2 single beds which is not adequate for a couple. Room service stops at 9pm which does not make sense! "

"Excellent setting,we had a spectacular view from our balcony if you were standing, not at all if sitting in the chairs provided,the wooden balcony obscured the view completely.The room was big clean and pleasant and generally typical of a top hotel,although I have stayed in many hotels and had never stayed in one with no coffee making facilities in the room before,that was a down for me,I had to either call for room service or go down to the restaurant or bar area. The hotel seemed to be very understaffed, we waited half an hour to get a drink at the bar,we elected to leave the hotel and have drinks in the town. All in all for the price paid it fell short over my stays in budget hotels."

"A wonderful hidden gem on the side of a lake, overlooked by beautiful mountains. Lovely staff, delicious food. Just an easy place to stay and relax. I was told we were the 6th British couple to stay in the last 5 years. I'm not completely convinced by that but who cares, it was a joy."

"Great place for kids. The apartment was spacious, however extremely hot and we had to request fans. Also there was a strange smell from the sink. The amenities are nice with the pool and saunas, kids playroom. We thought the dinner was quite limited and overpriced (35 euros a person for a buffet). The breakfast buffet was good. The location of the facility was great. "

Too authentic of a FARM stay!

"Unfortunately my wife and I weren't quite prepared for this much of a farm stay. The outside smelled just like a fresh pile of cow poo was placed under your nose, and since our room windows were open, that smell stayed in the room for hours. It seems like multiple rooms share a shower and toilet, so people running around in towels and chatting with each other in the hall is normal. I had a couple of business meetings, and would have gone to the car, but wifi didn't reach and the halls were rather noisy. I couldnt be in my room because my wife was also working from there. In any case, the larger disappointment other than the smell was the cleanliness. The towels didn't smell fresh and there were leaves and other dirt on the floor. I also had to catch and release multiple moths and other bugs from the room. "
