"We stayed at Town & Tide for one night during the weekend before Christmas. We were greeted upon arrival and guided where to go to check in. Our hostess explained how everything worked and brought us to our room, showing us around there, as well. The property is clean, organized, and easily walked through. "This B&B was amazing on every level. The room was spacious with a stunning view of the capitol building. The parking was included and much easier than other downtown hotels which require valet and garage parking. "The room was very clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was great! The area surrounding it was beautiful. It was a short walk to the water and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again!"

"Location is great and the room was very pretty. Bathroom was nicely updated with a huge rain shower head. We stayed in 121, our friends were in 119 which had a beautiful king sized canopy bed and nice sitting area. Breakfast was just ok...we'd probably enjoy the cafe downstairs instead if we visited again. Our room had a weird musky mens cologne smell and the wall unit didnt seem to work. We set it at 63 and it was pretty warm in the room."

"We enjoyed our visit to this clean, solid, accommodating inn. Lovely hosts run a charming place with a laid back vibe for a welcoming stay. Great spot with water views but it’s a mile walk or cab ride from Old Harbor ferry. (No Uber) Decent breakfast. "

"We arrive at the stagecoach inn to stay for the night, our purpose for the trip was to pick up our new adopted puppy so when we arrive we were greeted by Tim who explained everything about the property to us and let us know that if we need anything that they would take care of it for us when we got into the room it was perfect for our needs and was very clean. We slept well and we plan to come back in the spring for a couple nights just the wife and I it is a very romantic getaway spot."

"There wasn't anything we didn't like. An 1870's house upgraded bathroom, 12-14 ft ceilings, gas fireplaces in every room, a carafe of Courvoisier for a night's recap before the gas fireplace, the 4 poster bed , antiques all over, a great history to the house ands the local area. Warm, toast and inviting in January with 24 degree weather and a facinating owner of many decades.MAgnificent breakfast, fit for a king."

"A beautiful, historic property that has been lovingly renovated on a quaint, quiet street. The owners Nicole and Chris were so welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was outstanding! The avacadoe toast and freshly brewed coffee live rent free in my head. Great location within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the harbor. You will love this inn and your time in historuc Newport, Rhode Island."

"Great location, walking distance to Easton's Beach and Cliff Walk as well as many stores, restaurants, etc. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It got fairly cold for a couple of days and the gas fireplace heater did a great job of warming the room. The kitchenette was well stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. And the hosts are super friendly and helpful! "
