"Excellent hotel, with a stunning ground floor entrance/reception. Rooms and hallway a little tired, but it didn’t detract from the stay. If you get a family bedroom make sure you got a proper shower - ours was one over a bath without a shower curtain so it wasn’t the easiest to shower in without water going everywhere. Would definitely stay again if we found ourselves in Lyon."

"Had a nice stay at Campanile Lyon Centre - Gare Part Dieu with a comfortable bed but pleased I brought my own pillow - as the pillows offered were way too thick. The staff is friendly and welcoming but needed help to connect to their WI-FI, which didn't work very well. Please also be aware that it takes around 40 minutes to walk from the hotel to the City Centre. I don't mind walking so for me it was easy - but just in case you have walking issues."

"Had an amazing 5 night stay at the hotel. The interior is beautiful and clean. Our stay coincided with my girlfriend's 30th birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make the day special for her. The spa facilities are also great and the staff were very attentive and welcoming. The hotel is in an ideal location and great for shopping and proximity to restaurants. I can't recommend the hotel enough 10/10. "

We discovered a good bistro down the road - the midi-minuit - which actually closes at 10:30 (bizarre given the name). Looked at Georges bistro but was overcrowded and too noisy. If you arrive late, parking is free in the street. "
