"Dated room with peeling wallpaper, lukewarm water, and small uncomfortable bed. Certainly not worth £90. Dinner was shocking, and can only be described as a congealed bowl of slob. Meals were returned to the kitchen uneaten, but the £26 were not refunded. Breakfast was ok, but served on a dirty table with last night's drink stains on it. The only saving grace were the friendly and welcoming staff."

"I have stayied here many times and enjoy the hotel. Lovely all year round. Amazing in summer for the voews and walks. Lovely food, reasonable price. The breakfast is amazing with proper coffee. I will be staying aloy more in the future and highly recammend. Every element is 10/10. The staff are great and nothing is too much. People travel to the hotel for their food so you will always be treated to a great feast at a great price with a lovely peaceful hotel to rest you head for the next day!"

"Attended a wake at Kingscroft yesterday, also a few of us booked rooms and stayed over. The staff were brilliant from start to finish , food was lovely and fresh and kept being replenished. "The Briarcroft Wayth Hotel is a small boutique hotel and great place to stay. Parking is easy to find, the sitting area is lovely. They provide a guest kitchen with refrigerator dishwasher sink, etc., as well as tea, coffee, sugar, and milk. The rooms are nice, although some are still under renovation. The staff is helpful and friendly. My only wish was that the mattress had a soft mattress topper to make the bed more comfortable. Other than that it was a great stay!"
