"We were evacuating from Hurricane Milton and needed a place to stay. What a happy accident that we found Emma's Driftwood Farm. A stressful situation turned into a much needed respite. Our daughter loved fishing, crabbing, and walking the property. We all loved the peaceful view and quiet nights. "The home is spacious and the fact that it has 4 private bedrooms with a full attached bathroom for each was wonderful. Also, the fact that the home is all on one level, made it perfect for an elderly individual that was in our party. The back porch was also a great get away area to enjoy the woods and catch a movie while enjoying a fire in the beautiful fireplace. "Excellent space in these recently renovated and well thought out rooms. Very comfortable beds and we slept well. Staff were great and friendly, helpful and made to feel welcome. You are warned about the train track behind the hotel, you will hear and feel the freight trains! We counted 4 in an hour at one point and depends on the driver sounding the loud horn. We saw the funny side to it but still managed a great nights sleep as beside the train it’s very peaceful.
