"Lovely hotel centrally located in old town. I had the apartment suite which was two stories -very spacious and quiet. This is a fabulous hotel that I highly recommend. Breakfast was great. For 5 euros you can do laundry. Steam room and sauna were also quite nice. "

"The hotel was in a great location, not too far from the Christmas market, walking distance but with the option of public transport as well. Only downside was finding a table for breakfast in the morning, very busy, but if allowed time you would get one eventually. Would recommend if visiting Riga. "

"I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. I expected that as an older building it would be somewhat outdated and old fashioned. In fact most of the facilities appeared to have been recently renovated from the huge triple room we had to the spa and the restaurant. Spa area is not huge but I enjoyed the wave machine in the pool and the sauna was the best I have been in. Breakfast was perfectly adequate. I didn’t dine in the restaurant but Easy Pizza next door was good. Location convenient for all attractions and we walked everywhere except the zoo which was an easy tram ride. Definitely recommend. "

"This hotel is one for the books. It is conveniently located in a quiet portion of the city but still accessible to public transport and food stores. Employees were well-versed in English and had no difficulty communicating with them. The rooms are also clean and tidy and the most important thing is there is a water heater for tea and coffee which I really appreciate. Breakfast is also a delight as it promotes Baltic specialities like the herring which I love. "
