"What an amazing property! We stayed in the Opal Suite on the fourth floor. I didn't expect a true 1 bedroom suite and it was a luxury suite! The design was excellent. The location was 5 stars! Every amenity you need was within walking distance. We parked our car on the street and felt fine leaving it overnight. Parking is $1/hr from 8 am to 8 pm. After 8 pm it is free parking. You do have to be careful about parking on the correct side for street sweeping. The only thing I would complain...

"This apartment is in the perfect location on Jones Street. The view of the street is just gorgeous! It is little hard to figure out where our apartment was at first because it was off to the side and back behind gated area. The apartment is cute and has sufficient supply’s for the stay. "The property was as described! We really enjoyed the hospitality. Quiet neighborhood. All the amenities you needed were furnished. Customer service was absolutely excellent as we had issue opening the lockbox but within minutes, we were entering this quaint hideaway for our weekend. The only suggestion I would have is suitcase stands for luggage as we had to open and close our suitcases either on the bed or floor. Love that it was puppy friendly!!! Highly recommend "

We did walk to the river one night (1 mile), but I was so delighted to find restaurants, historic home tours, a book store, and a tea room in the immediate vicinity. "We absolutely had the best stay at Hotel Bardo! It is a gorgeous property in the best location right on Forsyth Park. We also were easily able to walk to City Market and the riverfront. The service, the rooms, the staff, and the property is 10/10! We also ate at Saint Bibiana, which was one of the best dinners we have had in a long time. Thank you Hotel Bardo for an amazing weekend!
