"We had an amazing experience staying at this property, would definitely recommend it! It’s about 25min from the main road just wished the dirt road would be an easier drive. Maybe Vivo resort can see about blading of the road for guest. Amazing food and bar service! Great people. Thank you!"

"We recently had a family vacation to Oaxaca with excitement for rest and relaxation. We had very specific needs that seemed to have been fulfilled by the listing including number of beds, proximity to the ocean/beach, a kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. The pictures and descriptions of this apartment in a resort seemed to fit the bill but was not what expected when we arrived. The number of beds was not accurate, restaurants were not opened as described, and there was no shuttle service into...

"The condo is in a luxury resort situated in front of a gorgeous uncrowded beach. There is a open air restaurant and bar as you walk into the resort. Two beautiful pools, one with a swim up bar. The resort itself is about 25 minutes west of town. We have been to Puerto several times and this was our first time staying in this area. It was close to the lagoon and the national park and great for exploring. There was a little glitch checking in, but it was resolved quickly. I would definitely stay...

"Sadly we had difficulty with our stay at this (Vivo) resort and there were quite a few things that didn't work or were simply unacceptable for travelers looking to relax and enjoy a seamless vacation and remote working experience. To be fair, the staff is friendly but under-trained. Upon arrival they required us to pay for our stay despite explaining we had already paid through VRBO; and the charge was less than VRBO so that also didn't sit well with us. Beautiful Splash Pool and Quiet Neighborhood

"This home is beautiful, and the splash pool is wonderful! You can walk 10 minutes to the turtle release and beach. The beach is beautiful, but no swimming or surfing there. The location is quite far from town; you will need to rent a car or a motorcycle to get into Puerto Escondido, and the road into town can be a bit challenging during the rainy season. We enjoyed visiting the nearby town of Bajo de Chile, which is closer than Puerto Escondido. We were there during the low season, so we were usually the only people in the neighborhood, which was kind of too quiet. The local manager was very helpful when we needed help with anything."

"We appreciate everyone who took care. Since it had rained the road was not adequate to drive through it rocky and water floods my husband didn’t felt comfortable driving through, we call and let them know they send Hazael to pick us up and he drove the car through the flood . Once we checked in we loved the cabin and everything, I’m not going to lie I felt awkward staying in the middle of nowhere but they made me feel safe and ensure we were safe by having security all night since the villas sliding doors don’t lock. The food was amazing even though it is a small menu selection it’s just perfect for the amount of people they feed daily . It’s only composed of 8 villas. Overall we enjoyed the quiet and natural atmosphere of the sounds of the waves and birds. The crickets were the ones who were making a loud noise and the mosquitoes quite a few so being repellent. I’m overall we enjoyed our stay and would come back for another two night nights. Everyone is very kind. One important thing the coffee was the best one I had ever had , very artesanal and delicious!!"

"Beautiful property adjacent to lively beach club with bar and restaurant. Our villa was fabulous! Spent half a day at their spa for sauna, hydrotherapy and 90 minutes couples massage! Every team member at Origen was friendly and extremely helpful and courteous! Highly recommended! "
