Let me start by saying, the staff is very accommodating. My first room was clean, but the furniture was very worn. Water marks, stained and the chair next to the elevator was so worn I would not recommend it for a donation. The shower, sheets, and towels were clean but the hotel’s decor and furniture needs to be thrown out, the hotel is in dire need of renovation. The staff is the only reason my stay in Rome was passable. The breakfast buffet was certainly a breath of fresh air and very enjoyable including the decor and presentation. The location is ideal visiting nearby shopping and sightseeing. I would like to be fair in my review but would not recommend The B Place its is current state. There is such a potential for a lovey hotel but immediate attention is required, fresh paint and decor would be a start.

Nice hotel at spanish steps
"Nice 3 star hotel at the top of the spanish steps, just few meters from metro station. Friendly staff, very clean, good breakfast, comfortable beds. Hotel is old style but bathroom is very modern. However there's no elevator, so have to carry suitcase by steps"
