However, we found the bathing facilities to be poor, being extremely cold and inhospitable. We did use the bathroom once, but would not use it again a second time. "The house and location was just perfect for a family ranging in age from 5 to 66. Plenty of room for everyone. The house has everything you need. We spent Christmas here and didn’t want for anything . Warm, comfortable and homely.Good communication with host. We will definitely be back. "

The bungalow was clean on arrival and all the necessaties of a home away from home facilities were in place (large fridge/freezer), cooker, TV/Wifi, shower etc and worked as expected. The bungalow was very warm and the heating a little hard to work out how to adjust to get it cooler but with the large patio door it wasn't such a problem. The place does look a little dated with some older styled furntiure but it was all comfy and for the price I have no complaints. ...

"A party of 9, venue didn't have a clue that 3 of us had booked. My room incredibly noisy with motorised heat pump on outside wall 24/7, used soap with pubic-hairs in the shower and mouldy grouting. Food was very expensive for tiny portions and the kitchen couldn't cope with 12 diners on a Sat, so was served cold. Staff member spotted cleaning teeth in the food prep sink. AVOID"

Roomy and Comfortable

"When booking other hotel stays for 5 of us, we have had to book two separate rooms. Not at Holiday Inn Express Taunton. We had one room for all five of us which was exceptionally sized and we all had plenty of space within the room. It is a budget hotel and the price should reflect expectations, however, we were immensely impressed with our stay, boosted even more so with breakfast being included. We will consider staying again if we are ever in the area again!"
