"We had a wonderful stay at Villa Michelangelo. The house is spacious and clean and has a fantastic view of the lake. It is a great place to stay to explore the lake and surrounding villages. "

"Lovely welcome package - helpful guide from the owner and beautiful views. Comfortable sleeping for seven guests and good cooking appliances and cutlery. Lots to do in area and close to boat hire and water sports hire places. Good restaurants nearby in Sorico. The natural spring is quite challenging to get to but a good adventure. No complaints - would recommend! "

"The property is very very tired, we had lots of problems including a smashed glass door, broken blinds preventing the use of the balcony, broken pool lights, all very dangerous for children. A chair was broken but left round the table so when i sat on it, i fell through and cut my leg. It is seriously lacking outdoor furniture which is nothing like the photos. Our room looked out onto Lake Como with the Alps as a backdrop. Spectacular. The hotel is a short 10 minute drive down the hills to Bellagio. If you don't have a car they have a shuttle van that will take you back and forth. The rooms are very comfy and since we visited in February, the heated tile floors were a welcome amenity. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a restaurant on site that offers a buffet breakfast and dinner. The breakfast offerings are varied and the dinners we had were exceptional. We were only in the room for two nights but it was so relaxing and peaceful it felt like a week. "
