Villa Borghese-Fantastic Location-Very Large and Quiet Apartment “Palm House 1”

This is the largest one bedroom/one bathroom apartment (807 sq.ft. or 75 sq.mt.) offered in the neighborhood and it is also the closest apartment to the Villa Borghese park. It offers a central location with a quiet surrounding. It is literally steps away from the Villa Borghese park and includes WiFi and A/C. Make sure you ask the owner if there are mosquito screens on every window. The garden and patio are sprayed twice a month for insects. There aren’t too many mosquitoes or any other type of bugs flying around. Baby ants will come around in April looking for food. I also offer a private separate entrance with car park (free) and garden. The patio is furnished with a sofa, arm chair with ottoman and a four seated table for outdoor dining.

The apartment is located on a calm leafy tree lined street in the Villa Borghese/Parioli area. It is situated in the most exclusive mansion filled neighborhood in all of Rome and boasts over 30 embassies within a 10 minute walking radius. Many sights can be visited on foot. The park of Villa Borghese is only a 3 minute walk from the apartment. Once inside the park you can enjoy a relaxing walk to the famous Villa Borghese Museum (5 min), the park's zoo (5 min), the Etruscan and Modern Art Museums (10 min), Piazza Del Popolo (25 min), Via Veneto with it's elegant shops and fine dining (15 min) and the top of the Spanish Steps in just 25 minutes. The tram station to the Vatican Museums, the Colosseum, as well as the bus stop to the city center sights and to the central train station are only a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Not to mention the neighborhood super market, open air fresh produce market and local restaurants which are also only a 5 minute walk away.

This large barrel vaulted ceiling apartment with it's oversized windows is very spacious and bright. It has a large bedroom with a Ralph Lauren American king size sleigh bed (rare for Europe) and lots of built in closets and drawers. The kitchen is modern and fully stocked; it has a dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator and induction stove top. The bathroom has a shower, bidet and a lighted vanity with an oversized sink. The living room is elegantly furnished with a sofa, coffee and end table, along with two comfortable upholsterd "tub chairs". The TV is huge and contains only Net Flixx. The dinning room is spacious and can seat 6 people very comfortably.

Now, the best for last. The apartment is fully private, just open the gate with the remote control and you have entered into your own private oasis. No street noise and no people walking by the unit. The apartment comes with it's own private car park, garden and furnished patio which is all extremely rare to find here in Rome. There is no other apartment offered that has more amenities than this one. After an exhausting day of sightseeing, you will really enjoy/appreciate this quiet and calming area to wind down your day.
