"Everything about the house is fantastic with great views across Lake Como. The hosts, Danielle and Marco were flgreat and greeted us upon arrival. We were very spoilt with a bottle of bubbly and delicious snacks. The house was a little further out of Varenna than we thought, but we love to walk and we think we left fitter than when we arrived. We would definitely recommend staying at El Lavandee."

He made life easy with a detailed "instruction manual" that explained everything we needed to know to about the house, from check-in to check-out. The location is fantastic and the private parking spot is super handy. We spent many evenings on the pier just staring at the lake. "The hotel was very near to the airport bus so it was very easy to get from the airport. As it is on a direct bus route to the Citta Alta access to there was easy. Staff were helpful; we were able to store our luggage due to a late flight and to borrow umbrellas. We will stay again."
