"I have been going to the Saint Georges Hotel for years; and it has always been reasonably priced, well-located, and consistently dependable. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a nice coffee shop and breakfast room off the lobby, and a cozy lobby lounge, with drinks available. I highly recommend the Sant Georges!"

"We found Hotel Central Luzern to be a reasonably priced (relatively speaking) hotel in Lucerne with a lovely breakfast and comfortable rooms. It is very centrally located near the train station and ferry terminal, which was a real benefit not only for walking through the city and visiting other spots on this beautiful lake, but also since we used Lucerne as a hub for day trips to other cities in Switzerland, taking advantage of the excellent train service. Surprisingly quiet, and all the front desk folks were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The main elevator was not operational during our stay, but a tiny back-up elevator was available and all we needed to transport suitcases to our room and back. Highly recommended."
