"Overnight stopover, although in the city the underground parking and 24 hour reception made it a good option. My phone map showed the hotel on the opposite side of the road for some odd reason and we had to ask how to access the underground garage (from Avenue de Caen), but once we found it a good hotel. Comfortable night sleep, clean bedding and bathroom and and the bathroom looked recently done up. Friendly staff. Tasty and convenient breakfast included (continental with eggs and sausages). "

"The restaurant is great—delicious food and a breakfast buffet with plenty of options to kick-start your morning. The staff? Friendly. But there's an interesting duality to this place: you've got the Ibis side and the Mercure side. I never ventured over to the Mercure part, but it seemed to attract a lively professional crowd as well as some older guests. I wouldn't be surprised if that was their main bread and butter. Meanwhile, the Ibis side—where we stayed—had this trendy ghost town vibe....

"We had a stop off en route south. The family room had perfect facilities with two single beds for the children and a large double. Also a fridge and microwave to prepare snacks or breakfast. Just what we needed with a child needing specialist food. "

"The location is lovely- set in a pedestrian zone right next to the cathedral. Lots of shops and eateries all around. It was very clean and quiet. The staff was professional, helpful and pleasant. A great stoop!"
