"The Spier is a lovely vineyard with good accommodation. They are now starting a complete renovation of the hotel and keeping all their staff on as part of the plan . "Very nice. The hotel staff and management ade our 12th anniversary extra special. The drawback is the R150 service charge fee and the R10 donation fee that was added to our bill. When paying top dollar per night for full 5* service, then I loath that an additional R160 is slipped onto my bill for an extra service charge. This is over and above every meals 12,5% involuntary service charge added to each bill, and then the bill makes provision for even another 10, 12, and 15% service charge. We...
