"Beautiful property and location. Host was very responsive with clear and helpful communication. I stayed for 2 months and felt very comfortable. Outdoor decks for morning coffee. Songbirds. Cozy fireplace or electric heat for cool nights. Cool and shaded by towering redwoods on hot days. Safe large fenced in yard for my pup as well. Peaceful getaway. I’ll remember it fondly."

"Overall the property is pretty good but I would not call it upscale. The bedrooms were campy to say the least and the effects of dogs were apparent. Also the heating situation is a little sketchy. But on the upside the kitchen is extremely well stocked and the outdoor space and hot tub were great. Also, the property manager was very responsive and helpful with the issues that arose. "

"Although it was raining during our stay, looking out the windows at the mossy trees was magical. The temp of the cabin when we checked in was a freezing 50 degrees! It would have been nice for it to be somewhat warmer. Having said that, the place warmed up super fast and stayed warm. We cooked almost all our meals at the cabin so we would have liked a few more pans. The place was very clean with an abundance of clean towels, pillows and blankets. "Mike and Debbie are fantastic hosts. The breakfasts were amazing and our room was quite comfy. We took advantage of the hot tub. Perfect after a long day of hiking. There's also a sauna but we ran out of time. Maybe next time. We'll definitely be back!"

"Very responsive host. We had a housekeeping misstep and he was there in a heartbeat fixing it! Property is a secluded cabin atmosphere in a neighborhood. No AC, which is the norm for NorCal but a bit too hot for me (I keep my house at 64 year round and 55 at night so…). Nice outdoor seating and fire pit."

"6 of us with a dog stayed over Christmas. The location was great. Easy to find. 15 minutes from my daughter’s house in Sebastopol. The house was clean, very tidy. Coffee was provided which was a bonus. We lacked for nothing since we brought our food. The shower was great. We did not get to use the lovely patio or spa since it rained but would have been a great place to relax and read and entertain. Cannot wait to rent Hazels Hideaway again in the Summer months. "
