"Family with 3 teenaged boys. The bedroom had 2 full sized beds. The boys slept in the mat sleeping area. Not a lot of room in either room for luggage but the living room and dining area gave us ample space to spread out. The shower was great. We paid to use the spa twice and that was nice. Location was beyond perfect. It was close to everything. We stayed in four different hotels on this trip and this was by far everyone’s favorite space."

"Fantastic room with ample storage space. Modern decor, very clean bathroom, separate toilet/vanity/shower. We had 2 adults, 2 teens and 1 child and it still felt roomy. Great to have a kitchenette also so we could heat up meals and buy groceries. Close to bus stops with buses only a10 minute ride to Central Kyoto. Loved our stay there! Would book this place on our next trip to Kyoto."

"The location was great, easy 5 min walk to subway and bus. Only 15 mins to market and shopping. The room was comfortable and a good size for Japanese standards. It is nice to have a kitchenette and there was free water. We only received 1 towel each and had to ask for extra towels which was not a problem. I asked for an extra pillow and they did not have any, that is a first and very unfortunate since it made my sleeping less comfortable."

"Great apartment style accomodation option within easy walking distance from Kyoto station. Loft C comfortably accommodated 3 people. Good quality appliances. Netflix can be accessed via the room TV. Guest laundry opposite reception. There are various loan items available for guests (board games etc). Directly opposite Higashi Honganji temple which is well worth a visit. Friendly staff. An annoying thing about the room was the motion sensor lights in the toilet and by the front door. "

"From check-in to check-out the staff was courteous and took care of our needs. They have a restaurant on one of the floors, along with a coffee bar and bakery near front desk reception. They also have a roof top bar and other amenities. We definitely took advantage of the laundry which was super easy and convenient. The front desk were English-speaking friendly and also knew how to speak Japanese which made our unexpected situation handled smoothly. We tried to ship a parcel back home at a nearby post office thinking it would arrive by the time we returned to the States. Instead we got a message from Nohga Hotel that the parcel had some challenges and got sent back to post office and alerted the hotel. That’s when one of the staff members, Moe (pronounced “Mo-Aye”) contacted me and coordinated the logistics with the post office where we could get our parcel back on the right foot. She took the time to get the specifics and make extra efforts to ensure our package was going to ship properly. We definitely appreciated all her efforts and professionalism because we were already back home and felt helpless. This is why we love Japan, the staff and people are very willing to help out as long as you can be professional, open-minded, and respectful. If it was any other country this package would’ve have been a loss. Thank you Moe and Nohga Hotel for having the best people at your hotel. Something like this will definitely go far and we will return to thank you for the help! "

"Just across the train station. Lots of restaurants around the area. The train sounds can be heard a bit but it does not bother me. The rooms are spacious (booked 2) for Japan standards. There is an ice machine and water refilling station on our floor (I believe there is one on every floor) Easy check-in and check-out. The staff were very nice. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Japan (this is my second visit to the country and have stayed in 3 hotels each time)."
