It is unpretentious but offers a lovely restaurant with terrace seating suitable from early morning to late post concert hours. My room was spotlessly clean with lovely views of the town and Alpine valley landscape. The bedding is superior - I had the best night’s sleep after the evening’s recital in historic Church Saanen. "The hot spring swimming pool attached to the hotel is amazing -- beautifully built into the landscape, natural small of eucalyptus, open until 2045. Breakfast is excellent and wifi works well. Without aircon, a room on the second floor gets uncomfortably hot in the summer -- it was 25C at the start of the night, cooling down to 21C in the morning, on a day with high temperature of 23-24C."
