"This was a lovely boutique hotel with many nooks and lovely places to sit and relax. Our room was charming with a terrace that overlooked red rooftops and the ocean. Breakfast was yummy. A great location in the old historic city and we walked everywhere. We will be back !"

"We had a wonderful stay at ocean view Hostel in Lagos! The hostel was impressively clean, and the daily housekeeping kept everything spotless. The pool area was a fantastic spot to relax, and the kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. We particularly enjoyed the terrace upstairs – it offered a lovely view and was the perfect place to unwind with a cup of the free coffee they provide. "Super friendly staff, very attentive and accommodating. Unexpected large rooms, cold and quiet A/C. Great breakfast and food. Best value for money in the Portugal coast. Will recommend to anyone going to the Praia de Luz area. Will come back! "

"Our stay was good, just not quite what we expected. The beds are a very thin layer of foam mattress and pillows very thin and papery. The wifi was good. The location was a bit far from anything and very hilly, so used car to get to town (could walk of course, but quite the trek). Noisy dog barking (not at night though, so was pretty quiet). Has to call to check-in (no watsapp), the number is on the sign on the door, with no one to answer at the property. They checked us in through the phone with...

"The accommodation was reasonable for an overnight. A high ladder to climb with luggage. A gentleman, staff or owner, offered to help. The room and bathroom had no pleasant smell. A good available kitchen was great for preparing an evening snack and breakfast. Rate 8 for value for money."

"The service was fantastic, the room was relatively updated, the hotel was quiet (although not fully booked), and the location was great for access to some of the beaches. It would have been nice to be more in the center of town, but it also could have been more crowded and noisier there. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. "

"The spacious place was sparkling clean and the rooms were nicely decorated. I appreciated the host allowed to store some stuff in the fridge and use the kitchen to prepare breakfast. The beds were good and comfy. There was a coffee maker with capsules and an electric kettle too. Very quiet at night (unless you have noisy neighbours in the other rooms) since it's not in the city. Your own car is a must (unless you're doing the Vicentina walking route). "
