Beautiful rooms in a former palace. The grounds and buildings are lovely. The service is very good. The breakfast buffet is not as good as similar hotels in larger cities, but still very good. The a la carte menu is better than the evening dinner buffet. Over all, a great experience.

Lovely old colonial area hotel. Everything works (heat, hot water, gym etc) but it’s just a bit dated. Excellent service. Grounds are beautiful. Great detail to security.

The hotel was overall a good place to stay with comfortable amenities, but I did encounter some bats and mosquitoes during my visit. This was concerning enough that I decided to check out earlier than planned. While the stay was pleasant, the presence of these pests impacted my experience.

I LOVED THE HOSPITALITY OF THE PEOPLE OF SWAT, AND STAFF OF SERENA WAS THE MOST AMAZING HOTEL STAFF I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. YOU WILL JUST HAVE A RESPONSE AS "YES" FOR EVERYTHING. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO NEW COUPLES FOR A PEACEFUL QUALITY TIME WITH BEAUTIFUL ENVIRONMENT AND SUCH FRIENDLY PEOPLE AROUND. Staff was very curteous and welcoming. Never gave us a reason to complain. We were upgraded when the hotel got to know of our discontent with the room. Its an old property and I agree it needs to be preserved but Serena must work on the ameneties and the overall condition of rooms and the bathrooms. Due to high traffic congestion in the area, it might not be the ideal place to stay if you intend to explore swat.

Hotel is very centrally located, is a historical building dating back to early years of Pakistan. Building is Old but well kept. Staff is very friendly and service is courteous. The only thing requires change is the Tvs which I guess they are working on. Breakfast is nice has a lot of variety. Will visit again for sure.
