Great stay at Maison de la Commanderie!
The hotel is really nice, we were there in low season and were basically the only guests, got upgraded to a suite which was nice.

Séjour St Emilion
L'hôtel est bien situé dans St Emilion. En revanche nous avons eu une chambre au second étage sans ascenseur. C'est un peu compliqué lorsqu'on a des bagages volumineux et lourds. La chambre se trouvait sous les toits et était très sombre de part la taille des fenêtres. Elle était également peu insonorisée, nous entendions les discussions de nos voisins. Il y avait à disposition une machine à café mais pas de bouilloire à eau, ce qui manque lorsqu'on ne boit que du thé.

Excellent service - very small hotel - treated like royalty. Given early check in and received text messages through out our stay to confirm all was ok. We specifically requested a room with very cold air conditioning (which doesn’t exist at a lot of hotels in France) and were not only accommodated but the owner/manager went out of her way to ensure that we were comfortable. Five stars!

Saint emilion est une ville charmante surtout le soir lorsque le flot de touriste est parti. Donc rien de tel que dormir sur place. La maison de la commanderie est idéalement placée, à proximité des restaurants et commerces et au calme dans une petite rue. Chambre propre, spacieuse, climatisée. De l accueil jusqu au petit déjeuner, beaucoup de disponibilité de la part du gérant. Et puis le petit déjeuner est convivial avec des produits frais et faits maison. Rien à reprocher !

Charmant hôtel, chambre des écuyers assez spacieuse pour 2. Literie confortable. N’avons pas pris le petit déjeuner donc propriétaire peu vu, juste en partant, mais très agréable. Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter à pieds, restos et petites boutiques tout près. Charmant séjour !

One night in St Emilion
Lovely welcome from Laurent. Room looked out across the beautiful town of St Emilion. Breakfast was a treat with home made jan and yoghurt. Will definitely stay again. Bought some wine too which was delicious.
