"We spent a fabulous week in this small but well appointed cabin - 2 adults and 2 kids (13 and 10). We used it as a base to travel the area, going as far away as Baden Baden, Switzerland and closer to Strasbourg and Colmar. Nicole is a lovely host and the welcome gift of local sweet bread was wonderful. Thank you"

"We throughly enjoyed our three nights in Anke's cottage. It provided a great base to explore Strasbourg and the Alsace region. The cottage itself is cozy and enchanting, located on the grounds of a larger chatelet. Anke and her husband Eric were welcoming and friendly. I definitely recommend!"

When we got home we had no heat for the evening but it was too late to contact them. It would have been nice to have some control over the heat since one of the parties was older and handicapped. "The room was good and spacious. Parking very convenient and good location easy to access and walking distance from the city center. The spa is a wonderful plus. I just wish the breakfast was better like other hotels in the area that offer more cheeses and charcuterie. I rather have the Nespresso at breakfast than in my room."

"Really nice hotel with a good choice at breakfast. Secure parking was at a cost of €3.50 a day. I did think that i had already paid for parking in the option chosen when booking but the lady at reception said that it was incorrect on Hotels.com. We stayed on a Monday night and there were hardly any places to eat that were open at teatime, I'm sure on a Friday or Saturday night though there would have been a larger choice. Would stay again."

"Very nice hotel in driving proximity to the old historical center. Supermarket, pharmacy, hair salons, restaurants, and walking/biking trails adjacent to hotel. Rooms were well lit, comfortable beds, renovated bathrooms, balcony area. Check-in and check-out simple. Good breakfast option. For improvement - Pool should be heated for travelers in the fall months. at time of visit pool sports accessories were dated and not looked after. Yurt-shaped sauna can also be renovated and made operational for every day use (not occasional based on client pre-booking). Large garden area could be trimmed more often to allow families with children to make better use of the space for play and roaming."

"The way the bath and shower had been designed is just inacceptable : it is just impossible to take your shower without banging your head on the ceiling which is very low. In the room next to ours, it was the same! You cannot 5* to a hotel, where you do not have the possibility to take a shower in normal conditions, this is the basics ."
