"Nothing like the pictures when we booked. Very shabby accommodation. One indoor very crowded pool and No facilities on site, you have to go int Saumur which is a lovely city. You have to pay extra for bedding . Beds uncomfortable and furniture all very old. Definitely not worth the money. "

Le lendemain j'ai annuler les deux jours restant à cause du bruit et de la sécurité inexistante la nuit. On m'a indiqué qu'on allait me contacter pour discuter du remboursement mais j'attends encore après plus d'un mois!"

"Amazing value for money and location. Really well equipped apartments, spacious balcony and comfy beds. Kitchen didn't have any spare space for storing shopping to make the most of the self catering aspect, but we worked around it. "the bed was a sofa bed although the mattress was ok every time we moved it made load squeaking noise the large entrance gates were attached to our outside wall so every time they were used it felt like the wall was moving and a very loud banging noise some gest returned after midnight some left early about 6 Am the location we good, only a short walk to the restaurants, and near the steps to the chateaux there was free parking in the street"

"We had a very relaxing 3 weeks' vacation. The apartment was fantastic. We had everything we needed. Gilles was always available and attentive to our needs. The apartment is beautiful and the views are fantastic. We loved Saumur and also took day trips to area castles and other sites. "The pictures don’t do the property justice, we were a couple who went with our three dogs. The Gite was spacious and had all the amenities you would need, dishwasher, washing machine, hair dryer, and the kitchen was well equipped. Fantastic property in amazing location

"The house was a really special place to stay with beautiful rooms and fantastic facilities. Despite the cool, damp weather outside, the house was lovely and warm with easily controllable radiators - a really pleasant surprise in such an old building. The pool was great and the games room was a real treat - especially for my teenage son and husband! The location is great - just round the corner from the centre of Saumur and all it has to offer. We were able to be at the table of one of the excellent local restaurants in minutes by foot. Gilles was an attentive host and made sure we were enjoying our stay. I would highly recommend!"

"This place is impeccable. In spite of it being in an historic building it has been lovingly maintained. Our triple room had an enormous bedroom with twin sinks. The beds were in separate rooms and there were original paintings on the walls. Breakfast was very good. Stay there if you’re in the area."
